Leeds Psychotherapy Training Institute

LPTI is committed to providing high quality training for counsellors and psychotherapists and runs a range of courses to supplement the practitioner's existing skills. The Institute's roots are in Transactional Analysis, but most of the courses incorporate a wide range of theoretical models.

LPTI was established in 1994 by Robin and Jane Walford to offer training courses for TA psychotherapists, but the focus is now to provide Continuing Professional Development for qualified practitioners from all modalities. Both Directors are experienced clinicians, trainers and supervisors. They are available for external training on request.

The ethos of LPTI is one of a personal approach to training which values the individual. Training group size rarely exceeds 12 and both Directors teach on all courses.

The Institute is a comfortable, tranquil space conveniently situated on a number of bus routes and close to shops and bed and breakfast hotels. Parking is available in surrounding side roads within 100 metres of the premises.
